Juno Joule Bio Fuels has commenced construction of its flagship Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) project at Narmetta in Telangana’s Siddipet district, marking a key milestone in the company’s clean energy expansion strategy. The project was recently launched with a ground-breaking ceremony.
The development is part of a larger cluster initiative comprising 10 CBG plants, each with a capacity of 10 tonnes per day (TPD), taking the total planned output to 100 TPD. The company has earmarked an overall investment of ₹700 crore for the cluster.
The first phase, currently under development at Narmetta, will include three CBG units of 10 TPD each, with an investment of ₹210 crore. This phase is expected to be commissioned by May 2027.
Once operational, the project is set to boost sustainable energy production and support the transition towards cleaner fuel alternatives, while contributing to regional economic development.
